- More recently, January 2020, the following work was carried out by a Stag specialist; (1). Reconditioned overdrive with new solenoid. (2). Phoenix Sports tubular stainless steel exhaust manifolds and new stainless steel exhaust system which gives not only more power, smoother running & more M.P.G.

- The car is fitted with a Kenwood radio / CD player.
- It is fitted with uprated Rossini front brake discs and EBC pads.
- New wheels & tyres etc.
- Hood stowage area stripped and repainted.
- May 2020, a reconditioned powder coated hood frame and new mohair hood was fitted by a Stag specialist.
- August 2020. Engine oil & filter change. Coolant drained and fresh water & antifreeze replaced to correct ratio.

Since having this work carried out the Stag has only done just over 6,600 miles and has behaved impeccably on holidays to Cornwall, Northumberland & France. After the first 700 miles the oil & filter was changed in both the engine & gearbox and the engine oil & filter was again changed at approximately 3000 and 4500 miles. Coolant drained and filled with fresh water & Bluecol anti freeze.
Although the Stag has had a replacement engine at some point in its life, the current mileage is 54,780 which I believe could be genuine as the old MOT certificates seem to substantiate this. Road tax exempt and 12 months MOT with no advisories. A new 12 month MOT will be done if required for the new owner.
Photographic records of engine strip & rebuild. Partial history file. 2 x sets of keys.
The bodywork of the car had been professionally restored a few years ago and is in superb order throughout.
All the work that has been carried out on the Stag as detailed above has been carried out by Triumph Stag or classic car specialist.
